Privacy policy

Effective September 23, 2026.

The short version

You can use this entire site without telling us anything about yourself. The calculators run on your device and never send your numbers to us. There are no accounts, no comments and no forms. If you email us, we have your email. Our host sees the connection data any web server sees, our analytics are cookieless, and our ads, served by Google, use advertising cookies you can turn off. The details are below.

Who we are

This site is published by Harmony For Humanity LLC, 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, USA ("we", "us"). Email: [email protected]. We do not have a phone line. The site is written for a United States audience.

This policy covers framingandfigures.com only. Other sites we link to have their own policies.

What we collect

From the calculators and tools: nothing

Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The figures you type (costs, wages, bid prices, bond amounts) stay on your device and are never sent to our servers. We do not log them, store them or see them.

Some tools can encode your inputs into the page's web address so you can share a result. That link is created only when you click "share/copy link." Once it exists, treat it as containing your numbers: anyone you send it to can read them, and it may be saved in browser history or in the logs of whatever service you send it through.

Those links keep your inputs in the part of the address after the # sign (the fragment). Browsers do not send the fragment to web servers, so when a shared link is opened the numbers in it are not sent to us or to our host; they exist only in the address itself.

When you email us

We receive your email address, any name you sign with, and whatever you put in the message. We use it to answer you and, if you report an error, to check and fix the page. Nothing else.

Connection data, through our host

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection data, including your IP address and standard request information, in order to deliver the pages to you and to protect the site against attacks and abuse. That processing is part of hosting and is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy terms.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It does not track you across other sites and does not build a personal profile. It tells us which pages get read and roughly where traffic comes from, in aggregate. We cannot identify you from it.

Cookies and advertising

We show display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. If you see no ads on a page, none are being served yet; everything in this section applies from the day they are.

You can control this:

Opting out does not remove ads. It means the ads you see are not personalized.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a consent prompt from a Google-certified consent management platform is shown before personalized ads are served, and you can change or withdraw your choice through that prompt.

We do not set advertising cookies ourselves and we run no tracking cookies of our own. We do not give your email address or any other personal information to advertisers, and we do not sell it.

Your rights under US state privacy laws

When ads run on this site, Google's use of advertising cookies to personalize them may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or as targeted advertising, under the privacy laws of California and several other states. You can opt out of that in two ways: through the Google and industry opt-outs above, and, in states with these laws, through the "Your privacy choices" prompt that the ad network shows and that is linked from the site footer while ads are served. We ourselves sell or share nothing: we hold no visitor profiles, and the only personal information we ever have is an email you chose to send us. Most state privacy laws apply only to businesses above revenue or visitor thresholds this site does not meet; we honor the opt-outs above wherever you live.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland

This site is written for a United States audience and we do not target visitors elsewhere. If you visit from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland anyway: the consent prompt described above governs advertising cookies, and we process nothing else about you except the connection data our host needs to deliver the page and keep it secure (our legitimate interest in running a website) and any email you choose to send us (so that we can answer it). You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold (in practice, your email) by writing to [email protected], and you can complain to your local data protection authority. We have not appointed a representative in the EU or the UK because we do not offer goods or services to, or monitor, people there.

If we add another service that touches visitor data, we will update this policy before it goes live. A newsletter and change-alerts list is planned but does not exist yet; if we launch one, this policy will be updated first, and you will only be on it if you sign up.

Children

This site is about running a construction business. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.

Your choices

How long we keep things

We keep your email for as long as we need it to handle your request (to answer you, or to verify and publish a correction) and then we delete it. If your report leads to a correction, the public log records the page and the change, not you: we do not publish your name or your email address.

Analytics is cookieless and aggregate, so there is no visitor profile to keep. Connection data processed by Cloudflare for hosting and security is retained under Cloudflare's own policies, not ours.

Security

The site is static and served over HTTPS. There are no accounts, no passwords, no payment details and no database of visitor information, which removes most of what could be stolen. Email is ordinary email and is not end-to-end encrypted, so please do not send us sensitive personal or financial information. We do not need it, and we will not ask for it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the page and the effective date at the top. If a change is material (a new third party, a new kind of data), we will describe what changed rather than quietly swapping the text.
